Have a Date With Your Child

Another ten parenting tips to consider. Always remember to try the ones that resonate with you and your children.

Parenting Tip #21 - A child who knows where she stands and has a clear understanding of what is right and wrong is a happy one.

Parenting Tip #22 - Spend one-on-one time together on your child’s hobby, this helps foster passion and enthusiasm.

Parenting Tip #23 - Do more of what your child loves to do. The more success she has in her area of interest, the more enthusiastic she will be.

Parenting Tip #24 - We don’t want to impose our passion on our children, though more often than not, they will copy us anyway.

Parenting Tip #25 - When you nurture your child’s natural talents and the things she is most interested in she becomes even more eager to pursue them.

Parenting Tip #26 - Treat your child with love, respect and encouragement. She will model this with the people she comes in contact with.

Parenting Tip #27 - Demonstrate the importance of helping others to encourage your child’s thoughtfulness. Children raised in a help-giving family become thoughtful and caring adults themselves.

Parenting Tip #28 - Eat together. Meals are a great time for conversation and sharing your day together, providing an opportunity for your children to see what you know and believe.

Parenting Tip #29 - Variety. Plan lots of different activities with your family – some quiet and some physical. Then plan in lots of rest. This provides stability.

Parenting Tip #30 - Make Sundays pancake breakfast day, or bakery breakfast day – kids look forward to a special family event that happens every week.

Certainly some great tips so far. And I do like your main theme of the site “happy kids”. It is the most important thing you want for your children.

I do have quite a lot of tips as all parents seem to :)

Though I think the best ones I have given out so far are here
